Arkansas High School Basketball - Conway topped by Jonesboro
February 17, 2023: Jonesboro, AR 72401 The Jonesboro Hurricane basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the visiting Conway Wampus Cats to 42 in the Hurricane league victory on Friday.
The Hurricane now sport a 25-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cabot for a 6A Central contest on Tuesday, February 21. Jonesboro will battle a Panthers team coming off a 63-47 league win over Bryant (Bryant, AR). The Panthers record now stands at 13-5.
The Wampus Cats (10-12) will now prepare for their contest against Bryant (Bryant, AR). The Hornets come into the 6A Central contest with a 11-9 record. In their last contest, Bryant was defeated by North Little Rock (North Little Rock, AR), 64-57, in a league contest.
