The Lathrop Malemutes basketball team scored 71 points and held the host Delta Huskies to 49 in the Malemutes non-league triumph on Friday.

The Malemutes now sport a 9-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wasilla for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 23.

The Huskies (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Monroe Catholic (Fairbanks, AK). The Rams enter the non-league contest with a 14-4 record. In their last contest, Monroe Catholic triumphed over Eagle River (Eagle River, AK), 70-38, in a non-league contest.
