Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Western Panthers (Russiaville, IN) and the visiting West Lafayette Red Devils (West Lafayette, IN), saw Western's basketball squad knock off West Lafayette by a tally of 56-42.

With the victory, Western improves its record to 12-9 on the campaign. The Panthers host Carroll (Flora, IN) to play the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 21. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 17-4. Carroll won 59-54 in their recent league challenge against Taylor (Kokomo, IN)
