Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the West Union Eagles (Myrtle, MS) and the host Blue Mountain Cougars (Blue Mountain, MS), saw West Union's basketball squad knock off Blue Mountain by a tally of 52-44.

With the victory, West Union improves its record to 19-8 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Biggersville (Corinth, MS) to play the Lions in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 22. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 23-5. Biggersville won 65-30 in their recent non-league challenge against Okolona (Okolona, MS)
