February 17, 2023: Ocean Springs, MS 39564 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Northwest Rankin Cougars (Brandon, MS) and the host Ocean Springs Greyhounds (Ocean Springs, MS), saw Northwest Rankin's basketball squad knock off Ocean Springs by a count of 59-43.
With the victory, Northwest Rankin upgrades its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Biloxi (Biloxi, MS) to play the Indians in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 22. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 24-6. Biloxi won 53-34 in their recent non-league challenge against Meridian (Meridian, MS)
