February 17, 2023: Lehi, UT 84043 The Timpanogos Timberwolves basketball team (Orem, UT), was overwhelmed 56-15 in Friday's league battle with the host Lehi Pioneers (Lehi, UT)
The Pioneers now possess a 21-0 record.
First Quarter
Timpanogos made just 1 foul shot in the first quarter. Phoenix Sweat, Mackinzie Jepson, and Kyralyn Spencer all had three -point baskets to lead the Pioneers. The score at the end of the first quarter is 13 to 1 in favor of Lehi.
Second Quarter
Lehi outscored Timpanogos 11 to 5 in the second quarter. Ellie Hill hit a three and scored 5 points in the period.
Third Quarter
Lehi took complete control of the game in the third quarter outscoring Timpanogos 20 to 5. Hill, Cook, Spencer, and Sweat all hit threes in the period. the score going into the final quarter is Lehi 44 and Timpanogos 11.
Fourth Quarter
Lehi held Timpanogos to 4 points in the fourth quarter as Timpanogos scored just 15 points for the game. Phoenix Sweat and Kyralyn Spencer hit threes in a Lehi 12- point quarter. The final score is Lehi 56 and Timpanogos 15. The Lehi JV team goes undefeated for the season for the second year in a row. Kyralyn Spencer led Lehi with 13 points and Ellie Hill added 12 in the win.
