Central of Coosa County Cougars (Rockford, AL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Talladega Tigers (Talladega, AL), 15-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Cougars now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Fayetteville for a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 18.

With the loss, Talladega falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Tigers host Victory Christian (Pell City, AL) to face the Lions in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 7. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 0-2.
