February 17, 2023: Ponder, TX 76259 Mt. Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Ponder Lions (Ponder, TX), 8-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Tigers now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Celina for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 17. Mt. Pleasant will battle a Bobcats squad coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Ponder (Ponder, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Ponder falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Caddo Mills (Caddo Mills, TX) to clash with the Foxes in a non-league game on Friday, February 17.
