The Polytechnic Panthers baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Fontana Steelers to 8 in the Panthers non-league victory on Saturday.

The Panthers (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Quartz Hill (Quartz Hill, CA). The Royals go into the Golden match with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Quartz Hill nipped Chatsworth (Chatsworth, CA), 8-3, in a non-league test.

With the defeat, Fontana falls to 1-2 on the season. The Steelers travel to San Bernardino (San Bernardino, CA) to battle the Cardinals in a non-league test on Tuesday, February 20. The Cardinals come into the test with a record of 1-0. San Bernardino won 5-3 in their recent non-league test against Vista del Lago (Moreno Valley, CA)
