Cornerstone Family Saints (Topeka, KS) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting St. Joseph Defenders Defenders (St. Joseph, MO), 61-24 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Cornerstone Family upgrades its record to 13-9 on the campaign. The Saints travel to Whitefield Academy (Kansas City, MO) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Friday, February 23. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 12-4. Whitefield Academy lost 47-37 in their recent league bout against Cornerstone Family (Topeka, KS)

Next up, the Defenders play the Shawnee Mission Christian Mustangs (Shawnee Mission, KS) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 19.
