Indiana High School Basketball - Southmont nudges Fountain Central

In Saturday's non-league outing, the Southmont Mounties (Crawfordsville, IN) basketball squad edged the visiting Fountain Central Mustangs (Veedersburg, IN), by a margin of 50-43.

The Mounties (8-11) will now prepare for their outing against Cascade (Clayton, IN). The Cadets go into the non-league outing with a 11-10 record. In their last outing, Cascade held off Western Boone (Thorntown, IN), 52-51, in a non-league outing.

The Mustangs now own a 9-11 record. They play next when they travel to North Vermillion for a Wabash River outing on Tuesday, February 20. Fountain Central will clash with a Falcons squad coming off a 66-60 non-league win over South Putnam (Greencastle, IN). The Falcons record now stands at 12-9.
