February 17, 2024: Huron, OH 44839 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Huron Tigers (Huron, OH) and the visiting Woodward Polar Bears (Toledo, OH), saw Huron's basketball squad overcome Woodward by a tally of 62-53.
With the victory, Huron improves its record to 8-13 on the campaign. The Tigers host Port Clinton (Port Clinton, OH) to confront the Redskins in a Sandusky Bay - Bay challenge on Friday, February 23. The Redskins come into the challenge with a record of 6-15. Port Clinton lost 62-49 in their recent league challenge against Edison (Milan, OH)
Next up, the Polar Bears confront the Central Catholic Fighting Irish (Toledo, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 27. Woodward will attempt to improve on its 5-15 season record. The Fighting Irish come into the challenge with a 6-14 record after their 62-38 non-league loss to St. Mary's Prep (Orchard Lake, MI).
