February 17, 2024: Albuquerque, NM 87112 In Saturday's league match, the visiting Santa Fe Demons basketball squad scored a close 63-61 victory over the Manzano Monarchs.
With the victory, Santa Fe improves its record to 19-5 on the campaign. The Demons host Capital (Santa Fe, NM) to play the Jaguars in a 5A District 5 challenge on Wednesday, February 21. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a record of 15-9. Capital lost 70-61 in their recent league challenge against Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM)
Next up, the Monarchs play the West Mesa Mustangs (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 19. Manzano will attempt to improve on its 6-17 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 15-8 record after their 76-52 league win over Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM).
