Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Hayfield Vikings (Hayfield, MN) and the host Maple River Eagles (Mapleton, MN), saw Hayfield's basketball squad wallop Maple River by a tally of 70-49.

With the victory, Hayfield improves its record to 25-3 on the campaign. The Vikings host Wabasha-Kellogg (Wabasha, MN) to play the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 22.
