The Cypress Centurions got by the visiting Los Alamitos Griffins softball squad by a count of 6-5 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Centurions (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Sunny Hills (Fullerton, CA). The Lancers go into the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.

The Griffins now sport a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Edison for a battle on Thursday, February 22. Los Alamitos will meet a Chargers squad coming off a 11-10 non-league loss to Tesoro (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA). The Chargers record now stands at 1-1.
