The Weslaco East Wildcats softball team scored 19 runs and limited the visiting Austin Panthers to 0 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Weslaco East moves its record to 2-2 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Lopez (Brownsville, TX) to play the Lobos in a 5A Region IV District 32 game on Tuesday, February 20.
