Louisiana High School Softball - Berwick gets by St. John
February 17, 2024: Plaquemine, LA 70764 The Berwick Panthers (Berwick, LA) softball nipped the host St. John Eagles (Plaquemine, LA), 15-14 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Panthers (1-2) will now prepare for their bout against Highland Baptist Christian (New Iberia, LA). The Bears go into the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Highland Baptist Christian was nipped by Denham Springs (Denham Springs, LA), 12-2, in a non-league challenge.
With the loss, St. John falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Eagles host Livonia (Livonia, LA) to face the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 20. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 1-1. Livonia won 15-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Independence (Independence, LA)
