February 17, 2024: Port Barre, LA 70577 Central Wildcats (Baton Rouge, LA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Port Barre Red Devils (Port Barre, LA), 16-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Wildcats now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Archbishop Hannan for a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 17.
With the loss, Port Barre falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Red devils travel to Eunice (Eunice, LA) to face the Bobcats in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 20. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a record of 0-1. Eunice lost 17-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Kinder (Kinder, LA)
