Texas High School Softball - Franklin bounces Northwest
February 17, 2024: Justin, TX 76247 Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Franklin Lions (Franklin, TX) and the host Northwest Texans (Justin, TX), witnessed Franklin's softball squad prevail over Northwest by a count of 18-0.
The Lions now sport a 6-0 record. They play next when they travel to Ingleside for a non-league match on Saturday, February 17. Franklin will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to A&M Consolidated (College Station, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-2.
With the loss, Northwest moves to 0-2 on the season. The Texans travel to Fossil Ridge (Keller, TX) to face the Panthers in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 20. The Panthers go into the match with a record of 4-2. Fossil Ridge lost 7-0 in their recent non-league match against Salado (Salado, TX)
