February 17, 2025: Perry, KS 66073 Perry-Lecompton Kaws (Perry, KS) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Doniphan West Mustangs (Highland, KS), 46-35 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Perry-Lecompton upgrades its record to 9-9 on the year. The Kaws travel to Valley Falls (Valley Falls, KS) to face the Dragons in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 18. The Dragons enter the match with a record of 14-4. Valley Falls won 53-44 in their recent league match against Oskaloosa (Oskaloosa, KS)
The Mustangs now sport a 4-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Onaga for a Twin Valley match on Tuesday, February 18. Doniphan West will face a Buffaloes squad coming off a 51-49 league loss to Washington County (Washington, KS). The Buffaloes record now stands at 2-15.
