Massachusetts High School Ice Hockey - Worcester Academy nips Austin Prep
February 17, 2025: Reading, MA 01867 The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Worcester Academy Hilltoppers (Worcester, MA) and the host Austin Prep Cougars (Reading, MA), witnessed Worcester Academy's ice hockey team nip Austin Prep by a final score of 4-3.
The Hilltoppers (7-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Pingree (South Hamilton, MA). The Highlanders come into the challenge with a 16-9 record. In their last challenge, Pingree got by North Yarmouth Academy (Yarmouth, ME), 4-1, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Cougars battle the Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties (Woonsocket, RI) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 19. Austin Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 6-15 season record.
