Connecticut High School Ice Hockey - Cheshire holds off Lyman Hall

In Monday's league contest, the host Cheshire Rams ice hockey team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Lyman Hall Trojans.

The Rams (14-5) will now prepare for their contest against Guilford (Guilford, CT). The Grizzlies go into the Southern Connecticut - DII contest with a 3-11 record. In their last contest, Guilford was nipped by E.O. Smith/Tolland (Storrs, CT), 6-2, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Trojans play the Trumbull Eagles (Trumbull, CT) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, February 19. Lyman Hall will attempt to better on its 12-4 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 3-8 record after their 5-2 non-league win over Watertown/Pomperaug (Watertown, CT).
