Alabama High School Soccer - Saraland toppled by Foley
February 17, 2025: Foley, AL 36535 Foley Lions (Foley, AL) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Saraland Spartans (Saraland, AL), 6-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Foley moves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Lions travel to St. Michael Catholic (Fairhope, AL) to clash with the Cardinals in a non-league test on Saturday, February 22. The Cardinals come into the test with a record of 4-1. St. Michael Catholic won 3-1 in their recent non-league test against McGill-Toolen (Mobile, AL)
The Spartans now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host Theodore for a 6A Area 1 test on Tuesday, February 25. Saraland will clash with a Bobcats team coming off a 1-1 non-league Citronelle (Citronelle, AL). The Bobcats record now stands at 3-4.
