The Smithfield Packers were victorious over the host Bruton Panthers basketball squad by a final score of 69-50 in Tuesday's league game.

The Packers now have a 11-10 record. They play next when they travel to New Kent for a Bay Rivers game on Wednesday, February 18. Smithfield will confront a Trojans team coming off a 63-55 league win over Tabb (Yorktown, VA). The Trojans record now stands at 17-2.

With the loss, Bruton falls to 14-9 on the campaign.
