In Tuesday's league bout, the Scales Mound Hornets (Scales Mound, IL) basketball team were winner over the host Warren Warriors (Warren, IL), by a tally of 62-54.

The Hornets now possess a 20-9 record. They play next when they host Galena for a Northwest Upstate Illini - West bout on Thursday, February 19. Scales Mound will play a Pirates team coming off a 69-29 league win over Stockton (Stockton, IL). The Pirates record now stands at 24-6.

With the loss, Warren falls to 16-13 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to West Carroll (Mount Carroll, IL) to play the Thunder in a Northwest Upstate Illini - West bout on Thursday, February 19.
