Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Portage Mustangs (Portage, PA) and the host Conemaugh Township Indians (Davidsville, PA), saw Portage's basketball squad hold off Conemaugh Township by a tally of 50-45.

With the victory, Portage improves its record to 23-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Claysburg-Kimmel (Claysburg, PA) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 23. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 8-14. Claysburg-Kimmel lost 75-47 in their recent league challenge against Fannett Metal (Willow Hill, PA)

Next up, the Indians confront the McConnellsburg Spartans (McConnellsburg, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 22. Conemaugh Township will attempt to improve on its 19-3 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 12-10 record after their 70-68 league loss to Fannett Metal (Willow Hill, PA).
