Hanover Central Wildcats (Cedar Lake, IN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Kouts Mustangs & Fillies (Kouts, IN), 62-57 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Hanover Central upgrades its record to 9-10 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Kankakee Valley (Wheatfield, IN) to play the Kougars in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 19. The Kougars come into the bout with a record of 14-5. Kankakee Valley won 59-50 in their recent non-league bout against Rensselaer Central (Rensselaer, IN)
