Morristown Colonials (Morristown, NJ) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Roxbury Gaels (Succasunna, NJ), 49-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Morristown upgrades its record to 15-3 on the season. The Colonials host Morristown-Beard (Morristown, NJ) to clash with the Crimson in a non-league bout on Monday, February 21. The Crimson go into the bout with a record of 2-15. Morristown-Beard lost 81-65 in their recent non-league bout against Hanover Park (East Hanover, NJ)

Next up, the Gaels clash with the Morris Knolls Golden Eagles (Rockaway, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 21. Roxbury will attempt to upgrade on its 5-16 season record. The Golden Eagles go into the bout with a 13-7 record after their 45-31 non-league win over Morris Hills (Rockaway, NJ).
