February 18, 2023: Athens, GA 30601 Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Lambert Longhorns (Suwanee, GA) and the host Athens Christian Eagles (Athens, GA), saw Lambert's baseball squad beat Athens Christian by a margin of 5-2.
Coming up next, the Longhorns play the Etowah Eagles (Woodstock, GA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, February 20. Lambert will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 2-1 record after their 5-3 non-league loss to Cartersville (Cartersville, GA).
The Eagles now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pickens for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 18. Athens Christian will play a Dragons squad coming off a 8-2 non-league win over Union County (Blairsville, GA). The Dragons record now stands at 2-0.
