Wisconsin High School Basketball - Madison East overwhelmed by Brookfield Central
February 18, 2023: Madison, WI 53704 The Brookfield Central Lancers basketball team scored 76 points and restricted the host Madison East Purgolders to 32 in the Lancers non-league win on Saturday.
With the win, Brookfield Central upgrades its record to 17-7 on the season. The Lancers travel to Wisconsin Lutheran (Milwaukee, WI) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Monday, February 20. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 18-4. Wisconsin Lutheran won 87-41 in their recent league bout against West Allis Central (West Allis, WI)
Next up, the Purgolders play the Janesville Craig Cougars (Janesville, WI) in a Big Eight bout, on Tuesday, February 21. Madison East will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 10-11 record after their 67-58 non-league loss to Wauwatosa East (Wauwatosa, WI).
