The Spencer Greenwave basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the host Central Chargers to 61 in the Greenwave non-league victory on Saturday.

The Greenwave now sport a 23-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cook for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 21. Spencer will battle a Hornets team coming off a 56-49 non-league loss to Fitzgerald (Fitzgerald, GA). The Hornets record now stands at 10-18.

The Chargers (11-15) will now prepare for their contest against Fitzgerald (Fitzgerald, GA). The Purple Hurricane come into the non-league contest with a 12-16 record. In their last contest, Fitzgerald prevailed over Cook (Adel, GA), 56-49, in a non-league contest.
