Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Sage Ridge Scorpions (Reno, NV) and the visiting Pyramid Lake Lakers (Nixon, NV), saw Sage Ridge's basketball squad hold off Pyramid Lake by a count of 62-56.

With the victory, Sage Ridge upgrades its record to 16-12 on the campaign. The Scorpions travel to Eureka (Eureka, NV) to play the Vandals in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 23. The Vandals come into the challenge with a record of 19-2. Eureka lost 51-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Owyhee (Owyhee, NV)

Next up, the Lakers play the Owyhee Braves (Owyhee, NV) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 23. Pyramid Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 13-8 season record. The Braves come into the challenge with a 20-3 record after their 51-48 non-league win over Eureka (Eureka, NV).
