February 18, 2023: Anaheim, CA 92807 The Mater Dei Monarchs baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Esperanza Aztecs to 2 in the Monarchs non-league victory on Saturday.
The Monarchs (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Pacifica (Garden Grove, CA). The Mariners go into the non-league match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Pacifica edged San Clemente (San Clemente, CA), 7-2, in a non-league match.
The Aztecs (0-3) will now prepare for their match against La Serna (Whittier, CA). The Lancers go into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, La Serna was overwhelmed by Long Beach Poly (Long Beach, CA), 1-0, in a non-league match.
