February 18, 2023: Houston, TX 77044 King Panthers (Houston, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Porter Spartans (Porter, TX), 7-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Panthers now sport a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Houston for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 21. King will face a Trojans squad coming off a 8-7 non-league loss to Alief Elsik (Houston, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 2-6.
With the loss, Porter falls to 3-1 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Clear Lake (Houston, TX) to face the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 23. The Falcons enter the challenge with a record of 4-4. Clear Lake lost 5-4 in their recent non-league challenge against La Porte (La Porte, TX)
