February 18, 2025: Iota, LA 70543 The Bunkie Panthers baseball team scored 5 runs and held the host Iota Bulldogs to 4 in the Panthers non-league win on Tuesday.
The Panthers now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Oak Hill for a non-league test on Saturday, February 22. Bunkie will play a Rams team coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Crowley (Crowley, LA). The Rams record now stands at 1-1.
With the defeat, Iota drops to 3-2 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Notre Dame (Crowley, LA) to play the Pioneers in a non-league test on Thursday, February 20. The Pioneers go into the test with a record of 2-3. Notre Dame lost 4-3 in their recent non-league test against Catholic - N.I. (New Iberia, LA)
