February 18, 2025: Morton, MS 39117 The Northeast Lauderdale Trojans (Meridian, MS) baseball got by the host Morton Panthers (Morton, MS), 6-5 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Trojans now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Lake for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 21. Northeast Lauderdale will clash with a Hornets team coming off a 11-0 non-league loss to Southeast Lauderdale (Meridian, MS). The Hornets record now stands at 2-1.
With the defeat, Morton drops to 1-2 on the year. The Panthers host Sebastopol (Sebastopol, MS) to clash with the Bobcats in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 21. The Bobcats go into the challenge with a record of 2-0. Sebastopol won 13-12 in their recent non-league challenge against Scott Central (Forest, MS)
