February 18, 2025: Church Point, LA 70525 The Church Point Bears (Church Point, LA) basketball crushed the visiting Episcopal of Acadiana Falcons (Cade, LA), 70-48 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Bears now possess a 22-9 record. They play next when they travel to Ville Platte for a 3A District 4 bout on Thursday, February 20. Church Point will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 74-36 league win over Pine Prairie (Pine Prairie, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 17-9.
With the loss, Episcopal of Acadiana falls to 13-18 on the campaign. The Falcons host Vermilion Catholic (Abbeville, LA) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 19. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 17-3. Vermilion Catholic won 66-20 in their recent non-league bout against Erath (Erath, LA)
