Colorado High School Basketball - Lake County nips Crested Butte
February 18, 2025: Leadville, CO 80461 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Lake County Panthers (Leadville, CO) and the visiting Crested Butte Titans (Crested Butte, CO), observed Lake County's basketball team edge Crested Butte by a margin of 64-58.
The Panthers (8-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Swink (Swink, CO). The Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 6-13 record. In their last challenge, Swink edged Calhan (Calhan, CO), 66-50, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Titans battle the Sargent Farmers (Monte Vista, CO) in a 3A/2A Southern Peaks challenge, on Friday, February 21. Crested Butte will attempt to better on its 9-9 season record. The Farmers come into the challenge with a 6-12 record after their 36-31 league win over Trinidad (Trinidad, CO).
