The Russell Red Devils basketball team scored 44 points and limited the visiting East Carter Raiders to 41 in the Red Devils non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Red Devils now have a 13-12 record. They play next when they travel to Lewis County for a District 63 game on Tuesday, February 25.

With the loss, East Carter falls to 7-16 on the campaign. The Raiders host Fairview (Ashland, KY) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Friday, February 21. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 4-21. Fairview lost 90-43 in their recent non-league game against Lawrence County (Louisa, KY)
