New York High School Basketball - Goshen Central knocks off Roosevelt
February 18, 2025: Hyde Park, NY 12538 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Goshen Central Gladiators basketball team scored a good 65-46 win over the Roosevelt Presidents.
The Gladiators (9-7) will now prepare for their contest against Cornwall Central (New Windsor, NY). The Dragons come into the Section 9 Orange County II contest with a 13-6 record. In their last contest, Cornwall Central was topped by Minisink Valley (Slate Hill, NY), 64-56, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Presidents battle the Highland Huskies (Highland, NY) in a Section 9 Mid Hudson III contest, on Wednesday, February 19. Roosevelt will attempt to better on its 4-13 season record. The Huskies come into the contest with a 9-7 record after their 50-49 non-league win over Rhinebeck (Rhinebeck, NY).
