February 18, 2025: Huron, SD 57350 James Valley Christian Vikings (Huron, SD) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Sanborn Central/Woonsocket Rebels (Forestburg, SD), 72-65 in a non-league match.
With the victory, James Valley Christian upgrades its record to 11-7 on the year. The Vikings travel to Wessington Springs (Wessington Springs, SD) to face the Spartans in a B Region 2 match on Friday, February 21. The Spartans enter the match with a record of 16-2. Wessington Springs won 61-37 in their recent non-league match against Kimball/White Lake (Kimball, SD)
The Rebels now sport a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Iroquois/Lake Preston for a non-league match on Thursday, February 20. Sanborn Central/Woonsocket will face a squad coming off a 77-60 non-league loss to Colman-Egan (Colman, SD). The record now stands at 7-11.
