Indiana High School Basketball - New Prairie victorious over Wheeler

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting New Prairie Cougars basketball team scored a good 54-34 triumph over the Wheeler Bearcats.

The Cougars (4-16) will now prepare for their contest against South Bend St. Joseph (South Bend, IN). The Huskies go into the Northern Indiana contest with a 17-3 record. In their last contest, South Bend St. Joseph topped Mishawaka Marian (Mishawaka, IN), 57-54, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Bearcats battle the Knox Redskins (Knox, IN) in a non-league contest, on Friday, February 21. Wheeler will attempt to better on its 9-10 season record. The Redskins go into the contest with a 2-15 record after their 65-38 non-league loss to Kankakee Valley (Wheatfield, IN).
