Newark Central Blue Devils (Newark, NJ) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting West Side Roughriders (Newark, NJ), 60-50 in a league match.

With the victory, Newark Central upgrades its record to 6-17 on the year. The Blue Devils host Global Studies (Newark, NJ) to face the in a non-league match on Thursday, February 20. The enter the match with a record of 4-8. Global Studies won 44-22 in their recent non-league match against Gateway Regional (Woodbury Heights, NJ)

The Roughriders now sport a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Arts for a Super Essex - American match on Thursday, February 20.
