The Vela Sabercats (Edinburg, TX) basketball crushed the host Rivera Raiders (Brownsville, TX), 74-49 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Sabercats now possess a 34-4 record. They play next when they travel to Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial for a non-league bout on Friday, February 21. Vela will play a Eagles team coming off a 74-46 non-league win over Palmview (La Joya, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 36-0.

With the loss, Rivera falls to 19-15 on the campaign.
