The Dighton Hornets basketball team scored 78 points and limited the visiting Triplains/Brewster Titans to 23 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Hornets now have a 11-8 record. They play next when they host Rawlins County for a Northwest Kansas game on Friday, February 21. Dighton will confront a Buffaloes team coming off a 54-23 non-league win over Golden Plains (Rexford, KS). The Buffaloes record now stands at 15-4.

With the loss, Triplains/Brewster falls to 0-17 on the campaign. The Titans host Wheatland-Grinnell (Grainfield, KS) to confront the Thunderhawks in a Western Kansas Liberty game on Friday, February 21. The Thunderhawks go into the game with a record of 13-5.
