February 18, 2025: Inverness, FL 34452 The Crystal River Pirates baseball team scored 15 runs and held the host Citrus Hurricanes to 0 in the Pirates non-league win on Tuesday.
The Pirates now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dunnellon for a non-league test on Wednesday, February 19. Crystal River will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 9-0 non-league loss to Forest (Ocala, FL). The Tigers record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, Citrus drops to 1-2 on the year. The Hurricanes travel to Bishop McLaughlin Catholic (Spring Hill, FL) to clash with the Hurricanes in a non-league test on Thursday, February 20.
