Central Wildcats (Florence, AL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Cherokee County Warriors (Centre, AL), 8-7 in a non-league test.

With the win, Central upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Wildcats host East Lawrence (Trinity, AL) to face the Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 24. The Eagles enter the bout with a record of 3-0. East Lawrence won 4-2 in their recent non-league bout against Deshler (Tuscumbia, AL)
