The Foothills Christian Knights baseball team scored 18 runs and limited the host Hoover Cardinals to 7 in the Knights non-league victory on Saturday.

The Knights (1-0) will now prepare for their match against El Camino (Oceanside, CA). The Wildcats go into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, El Camino was overwhelmed by Mar Vista (Imperial Beach, CA), 4-3, in a non-league match.

The Cardinals (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Oceanside (Oceanside, CA). The Pirates go into the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Oceanside ran past Canyon Hills (San Diego, CA), 5-3, in a non-league match.
