New Jersey High School Basketball - Hanover Park holds off Lenape Valley
February 19, 2022: Stanhope, NJ 07874 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Hanover Park Hornets (East Hanover, NJ) and the host Lenape Valley Patriots (Stanhope, NJ), saw Hanover Park's basketball squad hold off Lenape Valley by a tally of 70-65.
With the victory, Hanover Park improves its record to 10-13 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Madison (Madison, NJ) to confront the Dodgers in a Northwest Jersey - American challenge on Tuesday, February 22. The Dodgers come into the challenge with a record of 13-9. Madison lost 54-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Newark Academy (Livingston, NJ)
Next up, the Patriots confront the Sussex County Tech (Sparta, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 22. Lenape Valley will attempt to improve on its 10-8 season record. The come into the challenge with a 8-15 record after their 56-49 league win over North Warren Regional (Blairstown, NJ).
