In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Bakersfield Drillers basketball team scored a tight 42-40 triumph over the St. Joseph Knights.

In their next game, the Drillers meet the Clovis West Golden Eagles (Fresno, CA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, February 26. Bakersfield will attempt to better on its 25-2 season record. The Golden Eagles enter the match with a 26-3 record after their 68-18 non-league win over Nipomo (Nipomo, CA).

With the defeat, St. Joseph moves to 21-4 on the campaign. The Knights host Nipomo (Nipomo, CA) to play the Titans in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 24. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 22-6. Nipomo lost 68-18 in their recent non-league challenge against Clovis West (Fresno, CA)
